Range is really no longer a purchase factor, especially for people with home chargers. Easy to start the day with 400km /250m range. Most people have easy access to fast chargers (not everyone, but most).
As range and charging networks improve, range matters less and less.

the existence of Black neighborhoods, queer neighborhoods, chinatowns, ktowns, etc is not segregation- the withholding of resources from those communities is segregation. the gentrification of those spaces into sterile capital playgrounds is segregation.
