One thing a lot of people don't realize is that Russia was about twice as rich as Ukraine *even before* it started blowing up Ukraine's infrastructure and factories.
That's in addition to a 4x population advantage.
The question of whether China can grow at 5% or whether it falls to the rich-country rate of 2.5% is incredibly important for the balance of world power in the 21st century.
