I guess people in 2047 are going to be aching like The Office was a documentary about management practices in late-aughts America rather than a satire of them.
What people don't realize, I think, is that density doesn't encourage community because people in dense places know their neighbors. It encourages community because it takes less time to get to where your friends are, and because there are more people around to make friends with.
