These two Bernanke essays are tremendous though and set the template for what I think has despite its problems been a pretty successful macroeconomic response to a terribly mishandled public health situation.

In a socialist utopia with no private housing, you'd still sometimes have a situation where the number of households wanting to live somewhere exceeds the number of existing homes and some people say "we should build more" and others say locals should be allowed to veto that.

I think this illustrates why Twitter got into the content moderation game.
Musk clearly recognizes that it would be bad for business for Ye to be doing high-volume antisemitism on his platform, so he’s trying to talk him out of it. But what if it doesn’t work?
