Hearing such things more often--Chinese seem to know theyve backed a loser. Cant imagine that they would be at all happy if Putin used a tactical nuke. Dont underestimate that. All the Putin apologists such as @Dominic2306 dont mention these huge restraints on Putin using nukes.

All the evidence so far does not support the idea that Putin is a crazy strategist who will use nukes as a way of lashing out in his madness, but it does support the idea that he is a truly terrible strategist who is out of his depth.

A lot of rhetoric muddies the waters between “climate change will make the future much worse than it could have been had we adopted all cost-effective climate policies” and “climate change will make the future much worse than the present” when these are very different claims.
