It's time for @dylanmatt and I to start pumping-up the GOP senate candidates to vindicate our forecasts.

To be fair, if Puerto Rico wanted independence, they should totally be able to have it. Or statehood.

Oliver Jia (オリバー・ジア) @OliverJia1014
Puerto Rico has voted consistently to stay with the United States whereas the vast majority of Taiwanese want nothing to do with the CCP.
These Chinese government officials are either laughably ignorant about the rest of the world or they're intentionally trying to be dishonest. https://t.co/dgzXPyw8VP

Li continuing the Wen tradition of getting sidelined and censored

Fergus Ryan @fryan
Li Keqiang chats awkwardly with Shenzhen locals about the need to stick to reform & opening.
Seems innocuous enough, right? But according to some (incl @realcaixia) it’s being censored on WeChat.
If true, not a great sign for China's future direction.

The US will lose interest in Ukraine narrative is once again shown to be overblown. US public opinion remains consistent. A majority will back Ukraine, even suffer a little, as long as it thinks Ukraine can win.

Craig Kafura @ckafura
New from the 2022 @ChicagoCouncil
Survey: 58% of Americans say the US should back #Ukraine for as long as it takes, even if it means paying higher prices at home.

there's an interesting phenomenon where most of the degrowth movement comes from wealthy western countries that have by and large greatly benefitted from increases in production and believing this shouldn't be extended to developing countries
