Interesting: The new book minimum tax language in Schumer’s bill now captures subsidiaries, which includes a TON of small to midsize businesses. That’s a new $35B tax on small businesses just trying to get off the ground.

It makes me feel crazy to see people who were, as of three weeks ago, yelling that Biden needs to declare a climate emergency because every little bit of emissions reduction counts, now caterwauling that a ~40% cut in emissions still isn’t enough to meet our Paris goals.

(Not commenting on whether this or the bill is good/bad. Just that it's impressive they could come up with what can score as $30 billion in a pinch here.)
