It’s sort of fascinating that shifting society from “most people can’t read” to “most people can read” worked so well given how hard it is to find educational interventions that are effective at large scale.

it’s funny how the narrative about California is that all the rich people are fleeing the state to go to places with lower taxes
when the reality is that rich people are moving into the state while the working/middle class is being forced to leave due to skyrocketing rents

I fully support Slow Streets. It’s frustrating to see the Administration trying to reverse the progress our city has made on this during the pandemic. I will continue to advocate for preserving, improving, and expanding Slow Streets. It’s the least we can do.
