Not a recession if it doesn't last two quarters.

Some assume that economic growth is inherently at odds with saving the planet. Actually it's closer to the other way round. Economic growth often takes the form of new technology, and new technology usually does less damage to the environment.

I'm going to write a post going into this in greater depth, but I think that the U.S. needs to stand up for the inviolability of national borders first and foremost.

Yes, this is true. And we’re lucky it’s the case. As Beto and Warren helpfully demonstrated in 2020, running a campaign relentlessly focused on the obsessions of Maddow viewers and very online progressives can’t even get you enough votes to win a democratic primary.

India will reduce its reliance on Russian weaponry out of necessity, if not out of desire. Chinese weapons are mostly out of the question so they will have to transition to Western weapons platforms over time

Times of India reports that New Delhi will retire its MiG-21 fleet by 2025 due to recent accident. Decision also reflects growing shift towards Western sources for new planes, as well as inability to get MiG-21 parts from Russia due to ongoing sanctions.
