I thought the whole Democratic primary debate over domestic policy was ridiculous (it was) and that Biden's agenda was much too left-wing to pass (it was) so all this stuff people were arguing about was pointless (it was) but with Bernie you'd get less whining.

You simply can't presume that Trump was trying to call a witness to intimidate them or suborn perjury. He could have been planning to sexually harass them, share racial slurs, or solicit assistance in obstructing justice in a completely unrelated matter.

Trump tried to call a Jan. 6 witness who hasn't appeared publicly yet, Cheney says, and the person didn't answer and instead alerted their lawyer. Cheney says she has "supplied that information to the Department of Justice."
