Why are police getting so much worse—every decade, for 60 years—at solving murders?
Largely: It's the guns.
As the share of murders committed with guns grows each decade, physical evidence at the scene goes down, and more cases go unsolved.
Delta should have done this ages ago. Tf does college have to do with flying a plane? The rest of the licensing process matters far more.
@GovLarryHogan recently cut degree reqs for state jobs unless there was a specific reason. How it should be!

Urban planning should be 90% producing an A+ public realm, 10% regulating what goes on on private property. We've built a system that's closer to 10%-90% instead.
Most planning depts are basically zoning depts, and it's depressing.
