Romney says he backs raising the age to buy a semi-automatic weapon from 18 to 21. He said he hopes it would be included in any gun deal.
“You have to be 21 to buy a handgun so saying you also have to be 21 to buy an assault rifle seems to make sense,” Romney said.

To me one of the most frightening things about Trump is that this plot was not only extreme and vile, but also incredibly stupid — he'd be so much worse off today if this mob somehow had managed to kill Pence and Pelosi.
