"Crime decreased, other than murder" is sort of a literal "Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln—".

My least favorite housing trend (aside from rising costs): in 2009, 46 percent of new single-family homes were in a homeowner's association. In 2021 67 percent were. Are there people who like being in a homeowner's association?

We literally created the third largest government agency, changed how airports and air travel worked forever, implemented the Patriot act that gave the government sweeping surveillance powers, and changed what they call French Fries in the Congressional cafeteria but go on.

“Airplanes were used on [9/11] as the weapon to kill thousands of people and to inflict terror on our country. There wasn't a conversation about banning airplanes,” GOP Rep. Steve Scalise says while arguing against gun control measures
