I still think that evolution is real and should be taught to kids in school, which was a big subject of partisan dispute 15 years ago!
(Many people on here have slug-like memories and believe the Overton Window has been shifting steadily rightward when the opposite is true)

Chesa is getting recalled because there were a million videos of Asian people getting attacked in the streets, and Chesa said some insensitive things about the attacks and went soft on some of the attackers, so a bunch of Asian folks in San Francisco got (justifiably) mad.
Continually screaming "You don't actually care about crime, you just care about this other thing" at people who are legitimately scared of getting beaten in the street is basically just gaslighting.
Back in the 80s before drinking water was invented (circa ~1997) people had to depend on extensive fruit consumption to avoid dehydration.
