My more nuanced view is that it's fine to protest outside the home of any of these people except Justice Sotomayor because she lives in my neighborhood and that would be annoying.

I have a more permissive view than many of the rights of citizens to protest against powerful officials, but whatever standard one adopts must apply to all. Dems should put a bill on the floor that codifies legal abortion in the first trimester and see how many Rs vote against it. That seems like a tougher bill to vote against
