Obergerfell has let Republicans walk away from their now-unpopular opposition to marriage equality without actually having the intraparty fight as to whether or not they’ve actually changed their mind.

Now imagine me on the playground trying to convince the other gentrifier parents that if we all send our kid to our in-boundary “bad” middle school it will magically become “good” and the value of our real estate hoardings will soar.
