Interesting that out of the 329 Russian vehicles confirmed lost, 72 -- more than one out of five -- were abandoned.
Wonder if some Russian soldiers are deserting, after finding out what they're being ordered to do to Ukrainian civilians.

Putin's approach toward this war reminds me a bit of Trump's approach to denying the 2020 election. He feels like he can't back down, but also he's not executing very well and doesn't seem to have a clear endgame in mind, and the people around him are getting worried.

Every piece of Russia's seeming incompetence in this war -- the bad logistics, the desertions, the poor planning -- seems to come back to the fact that the people making the plans felt ashamed of what they were doing, and knew that soldiers would feel ashamed too.

⚡️Ukraine’s Air Force, along with units of the army and territorial defense, destroyed a large Russian military convoy near the city of Bashtanka in Ukraine’s southern Mykolaiv region.
Military bloggers reported that the convoy contained up to 800 vehicles.

Mind blowing.
To top it off, Ukrainian forces have been ambushing a large amount of supply convoys.
