Nate Silver's superpower is writing obviously correct tweets that somehow stir up a hornet's nest of poorly-informed critics.

Nate Silver @NateSilver538
The best way to understand Biden is not as a moderate or a liberal but as someone who, with a good deal of success, has always tried to position himself at the center of the Democratic Party. So as the Democratic Party has moved left, so has Biden.

My take on Joss Whedon is that all of Santa Monica should be dramatically upzoned.

If there were a test for “biggest asshole on the Supreme Court,” this is it and Gorsuch scores an A+ https://t.co/mDqQxpC0jn

Mark Joseph Stern @mjs_DC
Nina Totenberg reports that (1) the Chief Justice asked his colleagues to mask up out of respect for Sotomayor’s health concerns, (2) only Gorsuch refused, and (3) his refusal forced Sotomayor to participate in arguments and conference remotely. https://t.co/DmsQV8j7Wz https://t.co/7JG5hMN0q7

"If you take Trump at his word, it’s not simply that the election was stolen — it’s that the election was stolen and he failed at every turn to stop it, even as he held the powers of the presidency." @jbarro

Begging Democratic leaders to use their agenda-setting power to focus on issues that divide the GOP rather than dividing their own caucus.

Andrew Prokop @awprokop
It seems to me like any weird trick about how to pass the voting bill with a simple majority will be undone because Manchin and Sinema don't actually want to pass it with a simple majority

Genuinely insane that intra-coalition dynamics are pushing leaders to a course of action that they themselves concede has negative expected value.

Senate Dems barrel toward filibuster vote to isolate Manchin and Sinema’s opposition. But they need them to revive Biden’s economic agenda too

Lefties mad at Biden for being unable to force joe manchin to pass his agenda has the same energy as tea party republicans circa 2013 who were furious at John Boehner for being unable to force Obama to accept Obamacare repeal.

I see conservatives tweeting stuff like "In red states, the pandemic is over." Hon, no it's not. Just because you decide to ignore a disease doesn't make it go away. That trick only works against liberal activists and your whiny kids.
