Periodic reminder that DC permits way more housing on a per capita basis than the rest of the Northeast corridor. Twice as much as Boston and nearly five times(!) as much as NYC.

We know how to make internet communities better from studies of both games & Reddit:
👺1-2% of bad actors are trolls who can only be banned
🚫The rest are people who made a mistake: remove bad posts or give temp bans & then educate them about what went wrong. Most people improve.

This is a very interesting study; do not agree with 100 percent of how Jacobin characterizes the findings, but the general approach of "do working-class politics by paying attention to what working-class people actually think" has a lot of merit.

Jacobin @jacobin
An experimental study, the first of its kind, from Jacobin, YouGov, and the Center for Working-Class Politics offers a new and powerful perspective on working-class political views. https://t.co/CdnFratpnr
