What I'd like to see is a world where Vox, Vice, Buzzfeed, Huffington Post, etc. each implicitly or explicitly adhere to *distinctive* ideological positions.
Then they can be as narrow-minded as they like.
When I started out, I could really explain to you how The American Prospect differed from The Nation or The Washington Monthly or Mother Jones or The New Republic.
Each publication was fairly narrow, but the ecosystem was diverse and healthy.

The efficiency of land value redistribution is called the Henry George Theorem. It's a standard result that pops out of plenty of economic models.
