If you think New York City homes are too spacious you’ll live the Budapest pod dwellings conservatives are getting us ready for.

Not being vaccinated could get very expensive soon.

American rightists are importing French losers to try to try convince you that that you’d be better off in Hungary.
I’m picking up breakfast tacos enjoying the bounty of an advanced modern society.

Methinks the correct response to this is “don’t let the doorknob hit you on the ass on your way out”.

One of the many oddities of conservative Hungary-mania is that West Virginia has even fewer immigrants than Hungary, and while it is poor for a region of the United States of America it is *much* richer than Hungary.

If you think breakfast tacos look disgusting you’ll love life in the great new Magyar utopia reactionary dipshits want to build for you.
But I am sticking with America. https://t.co/JKEGqz7b7T

Baryphonic+ (we/nus): now more virulent @TheBaryphonic

House leadership is perennially frustrated that the only young members who get any attention are a small number of leftists but it doesn't seem to occur to them that this may be related to a gang of octogenarians monopolizing all the top leadership roles.

The only ways to get attention as a House member are to:
1) Be in leadership
2) Be an anti-leadership dissident
3) Tweet outlandish shit
If you don't want (2) & (3) to monopolize attention you need to address (1)

I'm not a fan of dunking on Hungary for being poorer than us, but it is true that growth has slowed down significantly since Orban took power in 2010.

Saying that America is a better place to live than Hungary is not a troll, it’s something that I truly and profoundly believe whereas conservatives are saying a large drop in living standards would be worth paying in order to stigmatize trans people more. https://t.co/bJkvaxYMi3

Richard Hanania @RichardHanania

I don’t want to say that the use of the term “Latinx” in progressive politics has a large causal impact on vote swings, but the fact that many leading progressive leaders were this out of touch with actual usage is suggestive of an underlying issue.
