Amusingly the Soviet space program was based on competition among rival firms whereas the US relied on central planning.
This is what I know:
1. Every credible medical and public health expert I can think of says everyone should get vaccinated ASAP.
2. The FDA process says the vaccines don't yet qualify for full approval.
Either (1) is wrong or (2) is a bad process.
